Introducing the third textile collaboration between Eric Dyck and mo.go.po.mo! The Showy Milkweed Tea Towel is a celebration of the weird and wonderful pod plant of the prairies, Asclepias speciosa. Featuring cameos from Tetraopes annulatus & Danaus plexippus!

This tea towel is the result of a collaboration between mo.go.po.mo and Eric Dyck. This collaborative process included time spent with local archives, concept development and sketches, illustrative and surface textile design experiments, and mutual approval of the final product. This tea towel features machine embellishment by mo.go.po.mo., and hand-lettering by Eric Dyck.

This tea towel was printed on Gabriola Island, BC, Canada on high-quality 100% cotton using water-based inks.

To ensure longevity of this tea towel, we recommend it be machine washed on a cold delicate setting with a phosphate-free detergent. It can be hung to dry to ensure it remains vibrant for as long as possible.
